In light of the Central Bank of Iraq’s efforts to achieve financial inclusion, develop its strategies, implement its initiatives, raise financial awareness and culture among citizens, and enhance trust between financial institutions and citizens, Under the slogan (Promoting the integration of people of determination and vulnerable groups into the formal financial system), the Central Bank of Iraq, at the level of the Kurdistan Region, the College of Administration and Economics / University of Sulaimani   to conduct the activities of Financial Inclusion Week (Financial Inclusion), because university students and teachers are an important part:

1- They are the next generation driving the country’s economy.
2- They will be able to spread awareness in their families and communities

Therefore, the Financial Inclusion Week event at University of Sulaimani represents a practical step towards achieving its vision Central Bank of Iraq to universalize financial services and build a financially conscious society. Through these initiatives, financial inclusion is expected to increase in Iraq in general and in the Kurdistan Region in particular, which will have a positive impact on economic stability and improve living standards.

For your information, all banks are offering gifts, services and special offers to students, staff and academics (teachers and employees) of  the University of Sulaimani   to encourage them to open accounts and use banking services, and take advantage of the transition to a digital economy.
